I completely disagree.

Halak is not a typical backup goalie. He's much better than most backups and is still young with a very promising career ahead of him.

Playing one goalie in 95% of games is not a good idea. We have two excellent young guys -- that's a luxury, not a problem at this point. I'd like to see Halak get 25-30 starts this season to keep both goalies sharp. It didn't work out earlier? Maybe, but I put that on the rest of the team. Goaltending has not been a problem for us this year outside of maybe two or three sporadic games.

There is absolutely no reason to trade Halak right now.
