It's not because he's a back up that you can't treat him properly.
He had a bad start vs WSH, was anxious to get back in and give a good performance. He did that yesterday after sitting out for a couple weeks.
We're playing vs the worst team in the league next game, there's no reason why he shouldn't receive a little Xmas present early and play that game. He deserves it.

Halak has a lot of potential, he's not a B level Goalie throughout the league. You have to make him play as well.

That being said, I strongly doubt Halak is going to be moved. Denis isn't doing good in AHL and Desjardins isn't ready. Unless we get a decent back up in return, Halak ain't moving.
