All teams have projects. Him being a project didn't exactly hurt the team last year so it shouldn't this year either.

Of all the statements I have seen, this has to be the most absurd!

Leclair had more potential in his pinky than Lats has in his entire body!

There is NOT ONE aspect of a hockey player that Latandress even REMOTELY comes to a John Leclair.

I remember Leclair, even as a rookie wearing #17.

He could skate, he could shoot, you simply could NOT get the puck away from him nad oh yea, Big John has loads of hockey sense.

You couldn't GIVE Latandress away.

Lats potential is more Steve Begin than John Leclair!
Leclair was never an above average skater, not as a rookie or in his prime in Phillie.

They have tons of similarities...size, skating, hands. The big difference is that Lats was developing in the NHL at 19 while Leclair was in college until 22 or 23.

Comprating Lats to Begin is not only ridiculous but entirely comical.
