I trust Larionov's decisions. He has played both flavors of hockey, and has the advantage of being able to take the best aspects from both style of games and incorporate them into the KHL.
Also, there was a very good article on Medvedev in THN. This guy brings passion with influence and isn't afraid to tick off the NHL. This is the kind of guy people need to be backing up. If he thinks rinks should be smaller, then maybe they should be. He is painting the game the way he thinks is best to compete with the NHL. Respect to this guy.
