You're already in fantasy land. The terms of your contracts are not remotely realistic. Do you really think the agents are gonna have all of those guys sign short term deals?

Jay Bouwmeester will be offered contracts for six, seven or eight years. Look at what Wade Redden, a fraction of the player, got last summer.

You think Montreal will be able to 'buy' two more years of all their young players so they can continue to watch them develop? C'mon, be realistic. They'll get put over a barrel and have to reward some guys before they start delivering, rolling the dice, in order to get them under contract.

We've seen plenty of players sign big deals where you're a little taken a back - "Wow, Milan Michalek just got a juicy pay day" - and you realize, this is the cost of doing business in todays NHL.
