Perhaps, but why would the Panthers trade Horton if they're in playoff position? It's no secret that Jacques Martin desperately wants to make the playoffs, might even be necessary to save his job. Maybe they'd trade him sure, but it's likely they will want an upgrade? Or another top-six forward? I doubt Montreal will part with that kind of player.
