I'm perfectly bilingual - no accent in either language. It is frustrating for me to see both sides - french and english - not able to pronounce syllables that many of us bilingual west islanders find extremely simple.

About the Lapierre pronounciation, just dont put so much emphasis on the ''La-Pee''. His name is two syllables - not three. Say it quicker. La-Pierre. Like when you say Pierre McGuire. His name is one syllable, not Pee-Air.
