Would I like to come back and play here some day? Sure. But I'm not pushing for a trade. If I was, I would have called the Flyers and asked them (for a trade) . . . My loyalty comes down to the team I'm signed with."

Roenick, a Paradise Valley resident and fan favorite while playing for the Coyotes from 1996-2001, has two more years left on his contract.

His return to Phoenix via trade is highly unlikely given his $7 million salary for this season, his concussion-recovery issues and the team's depth at center.
