I just want to add that if this team had a really steady top goalie they would definately be contenders for another calder, but the goalies have all been inconsistant except lacasse
Denis had a good start but tailed off and has been up and down from Montreal. Desjardins has been the most consistant but has been injured and is currently winning the battle between him and Denis for #1 guy.
If Desjardins can steadily improve as he has been doing the last couple years, he may be the guy needed to take the team all the way but i'm not sure he is ready. Hamilton is real deep at every position except there is no bonna fide top goalie. Otherwise Hamilton would be 1st over all in the AHL.
