Koivu and Tanguay were our best duo early on. They were the reason we went 10-1 at the beginning of the year.
Koivu got injured and the lack of production on other lines forced Carbo to separate them, some players have an easier time to adapt to new linemates. Koivu adapts quickly, Lang kept producing with every player this season, Kovalev takes time and Tanguay might be another one that takes time.

But once he's back from injury, I'm sure he and Koivu will be dominating again.
