That's assuming his team is willing to put up with the problem of filling a roster spot AFTER their season starts if he doesn't come back. Many European teams are not willing to leave a roster spot open and wait out a player they had planned to rely on.

I suspect that Prucha will only come if he's given a decent salary in Hartford--why would he come otherwise? It's interesting that there are conversations with him this late in the summer, but given Jackass' track record on signing "unproven" European prospects I ain't holding my breath.
