#1 Sutter dealt for those players mainly because of injuries.

#2 Marleau next contract will be most likely 4+ million and the Flames would not be able to keep Iginla and Marleau on a small market team. Yes SUtter may like him BUT there is a line between liking a player and knowing what is financial right and available for the team. Sutter is a team coach not a coach looking to grab "past" favorite players.
