I fear our young Brandon Dubinsky (the one who played like a man on fire as he skated last year with jagr, who by the way played his ass off for us) is now watching guys take leisurely skates, weak shots that dont hit the net, etc, and he's playing like one of them. I truly believe if we traded Dubinsky to the Flyers, he's have 50 points already and be buzzing with guys like carter and richards. This team needs veteran leadership for its core of youth. Not silent chris drury (who may be a good leader, but not the type we need right now) or the joking scotty gomez. we need a coach that understands the word accountibility. That way our team, full of good players, may learn to play with some passion again.
Either Renney starts holding people accountable, or he SHOULD be fired! If he's willing to hold people accountably and we still play like this, maybe we need more on ice leadership.
Dubinsky and Zherdev are probably the only 2 players I'm not down on right now
You can throw Callahan, Betts and (despite his awful performance last night) Staal in that category.
