Collins is trash. Mo's value is going to be low right now, but he'll have to be dealt (not necessarily to the Ducks) to make room for a Pronger-level acquisition. The others aren't, but they don't stand out so much, either.

One question is what are ANA's depth needs, in terms of prospect positions. Forwards? Dmen? Goalies?

The Caps could offer a much better package involving forwards.

Fehr or Bourque, if you wanted someone for the NHL team.
Osala
Bouchard
Perreault
etc.

On D it's tougher to part with the best prospects. Lepisto's good, but he's not the best. Alzner's an NHLer and isn't going to be traded, it wouldn't really make sense. Carlson is the blue chip that everyone's going to ask about, but man would that hurt. Maybe GMGM does it, maybe he doesn't. Maybe he doesn't have to, he's great at fleecing people in trades. Finley's a wild card, he's got a Pronger-esque game (less O though) but he's probably not high profile enough to be seen as value.
