Absolutely. It's pretty tough to rely completely on the word of two gamblers who have been criminally charged. Why JR continued to hang out with them after January, if he really did, would take some eyebrow raising explaining.
There is likely to be a money trail now in the hands of the FBI to prove the timing of when he stopped one way or the other (bank transaction records, receipts, cancelled cheques, etc).
Hopefully, they've already checked out and cleared him of any tips on Flyers games if they were sold by the service beyond betting on hockey games which the FBI already checked out and cleared him of.
