There is likely to be a money trail now in the hands of the FBI to prove the timing of when he stopped one way or the other (bank transaction records, receipts, cancelled cheques, etc).
Hopefully, they've already checked out and cleared him of any tips on Flyers games if they were sold by the service beyond betting on hockey games which the FBI already checked out and cleared him of.
I'm pretty sure in one of the original articles, it stated that the FBI had not found any evidence that Roenick had bet on hockey at all.
