Like it makes any difference what is being said and by whom. Should players share fans desperation, they would never win anything. Only the ability to stay relaxed may lead to consistency in staying focused.
You can strip Drury from the C all you want. There is nobody to hand that C to. That's the problem. We can change the coach, but the problem is still the same and can be described in 3 words:

I said that in Sept, but the Board was swept by euphoria of the new season expectations and wouldn't believe it. Then there was a good season start when Zherdev looked like Jagr and Lundqvist looked like... well, like Lundqvist. Now we have it.
Forget about being sellers, we've got nothing to sell.
Forget about being buyers, we've got no room under the cap.
Forget about firing the coach, this is not a change, it's a windows dressing.
There is a substantial difference between having a problems and being doomed. The rest of this season will be tortuous and the Rangers of '08-'09 will die a terrible excruciating death regardless of whether or not we will catch the 8 spot at the end of the regular season.
