He's not on the market. He's playing great hockey for the Flyers and will be valuable in the playoff hunt. His value is going to be skewed because of his value to the Flyers right now, so the judgement of his worth would likely be more than what Edmonton would want to give up.

Oilers won't trade Hemsky for Gagne because Hemsky is a) younger, b) cheaper, and c) producing on an equal level. There isn't a real opportunity for a deal to transpire between these two teams involving these two players since it would be a trade for the sake of making a trade. It would have no real purpose for either side. It's like trying to fit a square peg into a round hole.
