those poll results showing how much fans support the owners just shows how uninformed many fans are and how they just buy all the bs pr crap the league gives to them...the nhlpa hasn't bothered to make it a pr dispute but apparantly bettman is more concerned with fan approval then getting a deal done...
and the players have been far more flexible then the owners, the only thing the players aren't flexible on is they won't accept a hard cap, but a soft cap could be discussed...
