Is there any truth to this? (Weekes signs with Rangers?)

I just fail to see how Dunham and Weekes can possibly help this team in the long term or even the short term. Unless we're still talking about.............playoffs? Please tell me that's not where we're still.
Dunham and Weekes helps now because Labarbera and Valiquette should never see significant time in the NHL, they are simply NOT NHL goaltenders.. Having Weeks around helps because
A) Blackburn will get his time in HFD, and not have to be called up to play to soon.
B) Dunham will get hurt again, and will miss time, which is where it would be OK to bring up Labarbera to ack up Weekes, and not mess with Blackburn's rehab/development.
C) Dunham's deal is up after this season
D) Weekes is a much tougher (mentally) goalie than Dunham, and a better "mentor" type to the young guys coming up
I agree that a long term deal is silly, and I agree that Weekes should not be looked at as anything more than a placeholder for whichever youth develops fastest, but he is the perfect fit to be that placeholder, Dunham is not.
