For all you rec league and pick-up players, how do you continue to improve without formal practices where you can get lots of repetitions of an individual skill?

I try to utilize stick-n-puck and pick-up sessions, but it's not that easy to practice the same hockey situation over and over. It's especially hard to get better at shooting since you need to work with a goalie.

Ideally, I'd like my game to improve every season, from the intangibles to the bottom-line stats. Shouldn't we all expect that?

if ur not in the gym...get there quick...you probably know how to practice for hockey...maybe some dryland training as well
