I had actually forgotten about that game getting canceled that night.
I remember that snowstorm. I was 5. It was my brothers 2nd birthday. I had a one day hockey tournament in Havertown. I remember my first game was real early in the morning. It was still dark out when we left and it was already snowing. I don't know why but we went to the tournament anyway. After all the games we head home. At this point it is a full fledged blizzard. It usually takes about 45 minutes to get home, but it took forever. We got stuck on the road at a place that usually takes 10 minutes to get home from. It took us about 4 hours to get home from that point. It was so bad we tried checking into a hotel that is usually 10 minutes from my house. That was one hell of a snowstorm.
