Blues whined about it saying it was a cheap shot, and Hejda was a wimp for not going shoulder to shoulder with Backes.
Sorry Blues, it was a good clean hip check, and Backes deserved far worse after 2 true cheap shots to Jackets that caused them to miss games.
Backes left the game with a bruise to his thigh, and a bruise to his ego.
