I was expanding on what was said. Having a good camp could have meant he showed up in shape and played solid positional hockey.

The knock on Bahensky is that he had all the speed in the world and it got him nowhere fast. What the Rangers saw in camp was his ability to actually change gears, slow the play down and create something. In other words he wasn't all speed with no hands.

The had him playing a lot with Dawes {scrimmages, etc.} and Bahensky's speed created a lot of room out there. The fact that Dawes didn't quite capitalize on it as much as he should have, was one reason he wasn't mentioned as a standout.
