I originally voted Bouw, but after thinking about it for a while, I'd prefer Pronger. He's big, mean, skilled. His mean streak would be just what the team needs, someone to physically punish the Crosbys and Malkins and stir **** up on the ice. I also think he would be a great mentor for a big guy like Coburn... especially after seeing what he (Coburn) can do when he plays with an edge to his game like he has this week.

Bouw is great, and would anchor our blueline for years if we re-signed him, but having him long term would handcuff us even further. I think a few more years under Pronger and Kimmo for the young guys on D would do wonders for their development. And without having to worry about gutting another part of the team hopefully.
