Excellent point. At some level you have to expect that these guys will be more than potential stars than actual ones. I think we gave up on Sully too early, but DL has had three full seasons to evaluate him. I think the model player currently on the roster is Wayne Simmonds who clearly gives his all on every shift. It remains to be seen how far his talent will take him, but there are other players in the roster not meeting that standard. Message sent.
