Armstrong put virtually identical stats as Satan at Even Strength and Armstrong lacked a play making center and his primary job was to check the opposition.

Surprisingly, just because someone does it with minimal ice time doesn't mean that their totals will actually increase significantly if their icetime is raised significantly. Beginning of last year I went out on a limb and claimed that mathematically, if Christensen were to receive first-line or even second-line minutes he would be a 50pt player. We saw how that worked out.

Also, just because Armstrong > Miroslav Satan, it doesn't logically follow that he would be the guy for Sid. Kennedy is just as good (only 4 less points than Armstrong in 14 less games, putting him on pace for 2-3 more in the same number of games), plus is making less, and plays almost exclusively with Staal (who's as much of a playmaking center as Reasoner is), and his primary job is to check the opposition. By that logic, Kennedy ought to be an even better solution than Armstrong, right?
