this trade doesn't work for either team.

The Canucks will not be dealing Bertuzzi at all... makes zero sense.... would you trade Blackburn for what his market value is right now? That is a young goalie coming off injury, and inconsistency where many are concerned about his development as a goalie?

Blackburn has a lot of talent and is still young, but his market value due to his injury is not that high... does it make any sense for the Rangers to move him at this point?

Bertuzzi is in a similar situation, in that his market value is low... although unlike Blackburn, Bertuzzi is a key player on our team.. he's the team's 2nd leading scorer, Naslund's best friend, and our only offensive threat on the right wing.

Why would the canucks deal him?? and that for a pkg of young players that only help a rebuilding team - not a team that has their captain locked up for 1 more season.

Bertuzzi will remain a canuck when he's back, and I'm looking forward to him coming back... when on his game he's simply the most dominating player in the game, when you take his physical game into account... he's not as offensively gifted as Jagr, but he makes his presense felt in every game physically... he's the single biggest reason why the Canucks beat the blues 2 years ago, by taking out Jackman, MacInnis and Salvador in the same series - all on legal hits.

Bertuzzi is untouchable on the canucks... as are Naslund, Ohlund and Jovo... these guys won't be moving anywhere, cause they bring this team exactly what we need right now.
