We all understand that there are about 5 to 10 forwards in the KHL better/more valuable to their teams than Jagr. But he is still a PPG player in the KHL, clear cut leader in Omsk, and worshiped their.
So on one hand he had the most difficult season of his carrer (his words), a decent playoff run on the other. On one hand if he goes to Edm, he is bound to a noncontender, if he stays in AO and insists that the management get a good center, a scoring second line, then the team can win it all.
Omsk can not afford to keep and overpay players like Kuryanov, Metlyuk or Popov or even Pestunov. Return Su, Kaluzhny.
