VanI: I think the 300 games rule is fine. It will prevent guys from drafting John Tavares and Steven Stamkos, but I do think it is unnecessary. The group of guys doing this have proven that they aren't going to be picking guys like Tavares. So this rule shouldn't even be a problem. I partly agree with what seventies said, it should be open, and if a guy chooses to take John Tavares, that's cool, but he isn't going to have a winning team, and he is going to be blasted beyond belief by all of you. Although, I fully agree with you about this being about respecting the history of the game.

So basically, I support the notion of keeping the rule in place. (Am I allowed to do that, even if i"m not participating in the draft? If not, ah well)
