I wonder if the Canucks had a bit of an inside edge because this is about as close to a homecoming Walsky would have had available (being from Alaska)?

Just looking through the list of names that Hanky posted, Bozak played Junior B in Victoria, MacIntyre is from Sooke, and Thiessen is from Aldergrove.
