Don't be silly.
I think it's a fair assumption to make that players who play the smaller college schedules would not be used to the rigors of an 82 game schedule + playoffs.

But at the same time, I know the reason Brian Burke likes signing college players is because less games means more time in the weight room, which - if true - would completely negate any conditioning worries.
