It's quite fun actually! They stab a needle in your eyeball, they then pry your eyeball half out of your head while shooting lasers onto your retina from behind your eyeball all while you're awake. It's a bit painful, but things could be worse.
That, my friend, truly makes my hair stand on end...I hope it heals to the point where you'll never have to go thru that procedure again
