As a Kings fan too, (just read this which I just posted on the main boards too), it's the other side of the Spectrum. Phil Anschutz has been more worried about all of his other projects, and his cash cow, the Kings, continues to sit as one of the league's doormats. He's been running around doing his David Beckham thing, and his soccer thing, and his LA Live! thing (which Ed Snider is tearing down the spectrum for Philly's over version - even giving it the same name), and his Kansas City thing, while his biggest investment...sits there. They're basically the new Chicago Blackhawks.
I think Lombardi is a good GM. And the Kings have a huge amount of young talent.
