2.82 GAA isn't bad at all considering the defence he had playing in front of him. I was just checking out Patrick Roys regular season goals against average and playoff goals against average for the Stanley Cup years 86, 93.

Regular season 86- GP47 W23 L18 GAA3.35
Playoffs 86- GP20 W15 L5 GAA1.93

Regular season 93- GP62 W31 L25 GAA3.20
Playoffs 93- GP20 W16 L4 GAA2.13

Not saying Price is a Patrick Roy, just saying it isn't unprecedented for a goaltender to pick up their game to new levels in the playoffs. Quite frankly, Price and/or Halak are going to have to play much better in the postseason if the Habs are going to have any chance of going far this year.
