I've said it once and I'll keep saying it.. French Canadians Have a different sense on humor than English Canadians. They are not 100% different, but still different. French Canadians like Goofy Funny. For example, listen to CKOI and Chom. The jokes on CKOI usually always revolved around funny crazy voices. It almost doesn't even matter what they say, as long as it sounds crazy. On the other hand, CHOM had more monotone monologues were if you didn't listen for 1 second, you wouldn't get the joke..
"La petite Vie" was another example of French Canadian Humor. Now I'm not going to argue which one is funnier because that all depends on the person. But if the majority of French Canadians like this style, The Montreal Canadiens are going to try and work around that humor when trying to use humor in their adds (Which they don't really do often).
So I don't expect anything like what Boston did anytime soon in Montreal. But it's ok..
