I agree, Tanguay is a much better player than Ryder. But does the organization need another elite playmaker at 5-6M a year, or do they need a 3-4M a year right handed sniper? It's all about fit, and I'm certainly not the GM but the that's the point I'm trying to make.

By the way, there is an article on Michael today on the NHLPA website if anyone is interested in reading it.
