Losing Rosenthal in the 1st quarter hurt them badly. Rosey was already outmatched by Kearse, having Haayer in was just chumming the water. Culpepper had no time to throw and the Vikes couldn't run to the right side of the line.
Eagles won, rightfully so, but the game was closer than the score indicates.
Culpepper's fumble on the 1 was the turning point. He had a man wide open about 4 feet in front of him, and saw him but he ran.
