I don't think it's due to one draft and a handful of signings. I think the difference between 10 spots on the list is probably pretty close, and I think the criteria may have been adjusted slightly. Could be wrong, though.. maybe it's all Thelen.

Either way, this appears puts the Wild in a position more in line with where other publications place them, doesn't it? That makes sense, I think.

I've always thought it odd that a team who's philosophy is draft-and-develop, a team that has the most full-time scouts on staff (they did at one point anyway; I'm not sure if that's still the case), and a team that's drafted fairly early over the past 4 years would have a prospect pool that's not ranked very highly.
