is not on the list. So lets see we have 7 forwards, 3 defenseman and a goalie, by my account. That is over 1/2 of a team, that already includes other "younger" players like Esche, Johnsson and Markov.

mentioned, read it again, so is Pitkanen as his NHL GP removed him from HF eligibility. Each team has their top 5 prospects listed which doesn't mean those who aren't in the top 5 aren't regarded by HF as worthwhile.
Why do we have prospect criteria? There has to be a line drawn somewhere and we use age/NHL GP as two significant markers. We concentrate on prospects from the day they are drafted until they are done their first 65 games in the NHL and given a window of their 24th birthday to do it, that's what makes HF different, that's our niche. With that in mind, it wouldn't make sense to include players outside of those parameters just for this ranking would it?
Glad to hear most Flyer fans are pleased with the move up the charts for your team.
EDIT: it's the 24th birthday, not 25th. With exceptions for late signees.
