From the group the Monarchs released yesterday, Belanger and Mangos were already signed in Reading. Nagel is signed with the Bakersfield Condors in the ECHL...
Thanks. I was aware of Hershey agreement but not the goaltender quota.

While I dont know what the track record Julie Pelchar has with Reading fans but she wrote the following today issue:

Manchester assigned five players to Reading Monday goaltender Yutaka Fukufuji, forwards Eric Fortier and Lukas Dora and defensemen Simon Mangos and Frederic Belanger.

The assignment of Fukufuji gives the Royals their first goalie, shedding at least a ray of light on an unclear goaltending situation.

Reading has been talking to Cody Rudkowsky, but the future of last yearís MVP has yet to be determined. Rudkowsky is attending Portlandís AHL camp, and if released by the Pirates, he could play here.

Although the Monarchs also released goalie Nathan Marsters, they didnít assign him to Reading.
