He can sign an offer sheet from another club, and the Kings can match, or let him go and receive compensation in the way of draft picks, pretty much in the way the Penner scenario went down with the Ducks. Like Ron said, that is why DL went on the big threat about other GM's trying to making offers to our RFA's.
