"Hi kings Fans.
You know what i can't understand. is that Nathan Martsters, the goalie that had the best stats as a kings goalie prospect every since he has been drafted (except one year) by them, has not recieved the respect he has deserved. I got to see him play here in Manchester tranning camp and he was great in that game and throughout the practices. I also got to fly down to LA and watch that tournament in Anaheim. He was the only goalie that was getting to play because of how well he was doing, and you know how tough it is to go in every game second. In the game up here against Portland he played very well going 10 for 10. Adam Hauser wasn't that good at all and I am scared for this year if Garon gets hurt. Other then this, I am very excitied about this years team and we should be very competitve."
I took this LAFAN18 post from the other thread.
A couple of points:
1. Hauser wasn't the other goalie in Portland it was Brust.
2. In the game in Hooksett the next day Hauser did have 4-goals scored against him and this is MY reccolletion:
Portlandís 1st goal (PP) was a screen job I doubt Hauser ever saw it
Portlandís 2nd goal (PP) came after Belanger dove to break-up a pass and wiped Hauser out. Canít make saves from the back of the net and your teammate tangled-up with you.
Portlandís 3rd goal (SH) Fussey broke in down the left side let a snapper go from the left circle that Hauser should have had all the way. Beat him far side high.
Portlandís 4th goal Hauser made the save, puck was just off of the right post. He had his right skate against the post and was down. Two Portland players basically pushed his leg and puck in the net while the Manchester D watchedÖ
4-scored, 1 was Hauser's fault...
