I love learning from good books. I want to know what are some of the best references out there on sports in general, biomechanics, sports psychology, management, anything you know basically.
I have a few already from Francois Allaire's book to Gerard Gagnon's but I'd like some more. If anyone has some good recommendations also from other sports. I'm very interested in Bill Walsh among others.
This is slightly off-topic... I'm interested in buying an old crappy acoustic guitar ($200 budget lol) and learning how to play. Do you have any good book recommendations? send me a private message if you have any tips!
If you want an interesting read I'd take a look at Marty Brodeur's biography "Beyond the Crease".
For hockey instruction I'd start by recommending Laura Stamm's Powerskating book:
I've also heard good things about Peter Twist's "Complete Conditioning for Hockey"
I'm not big on reading books for hockey but I've looked at it briefly. Cheers!
