The original poster stated he wanted to spend $50-$80 only Canadian.

The only suggestion I have is a mid priced shaft like a bauer Supreme One55 and buying a wood blade for cheaps if they have any clearanced or sells for about $20 or so. They do have the One55 blade that is a composite but it is the cheaper one that is not very durable and lacks puck feel BUT they are about $24.99 US

The One55 shaft has great durability is cheap and performs well and sells for $41.99 new in most places US dollars. It also has a 2 month warranty. I do not know what that converts to in Canadian money but really I think it will be the cheapest he finds unless some amazing clearance price shows up we've not seen before or something.

If he buys anything online he will still have to pay shipping which is about $10+ for sticks as they are a longer than a normal shipping box.
