Going from an Senior Stick to Intermediate... advice?

. I'm about 145lbs so I don't think a 67-70 flex would be that far off of a weight/flex ratio? Am I wrong?
Anyone else make the switch? Any warnings or advice?
All other things being equal (they rarely are...but), if two sticks have the same stiffness the skinnier one is stronger.
