Hope that he does sign. Have a gut feeling he's going to be injured again though, and/or see declining effectiveness over the next year or two.

But, Poile needs to start thinking about plan B. Depending on the price, I think someone like Gionta would be a good plan B. He really impressive me in the playoffs, and is a real battler. He was given a backseat role the last year or two, but he'd look nice next to Arnott & Dumont. I wouldn't expect the 48 goals he put up a few years ago, but could see 30-35.

I also think he could be a good fit & mentor to Wilson in the coming years.
