My pre-game routine usually includes a quick jog/stretch (well 20 minutes of yoga... deep breathing, relaxing and all that good stuff). On the way to the rink I just blast the radio and sip on some water or sample the Powerade flavour I picked out for the night.

While getting dressed I go silent until my lower body gear is on. After that it's all a crapshoot, but when I first hit the ice I like to sprint to the bench to put my stuff away, and then do some quick laps before playing with the puck and making sure my equipment is loose.




Oh, and I always end up relacing my skates on the bench. I can't remember the last time I've tied up my skates and had them exactly the way I wanted them right away.
