Most of my Mens games are between 930 and 1130, so i normally eat a smaller dinner those nights to not be weighed down. Afterwards i usually pound about 4-5 beers and some water. We occasionally hit the bar and they have Peanuts and popcorn.

Maybe pick up a snickers, and pop an advil with a glass of water... Maybe that'll work for you.

Even if i do not drink a few beers i feel like crap, mainly from lack of sleep-----Especially if you have kids..... I figure the beers actually help me fall asleep quicker otherwise i sit in bed starring at the ceiling for an hour or so.

Realistically you try a few different things until it works for you. otherwise you just have to suck it up for the day or two.
