Sure man now problem. Cotton socks create extra friction between your feet and the skate, based on their everyday cheap design.

Nylon socks, make a world of difference. Never skate without them.

If you're still playing through blisters, have you used Bunga pads? They're really great. I have a bad bunion on my right foot(prolly going to require surgery someday) and an emerging one on my left foot.

The Bunga pads are worn underneath my sock and on top of my foot. They stop the rubbing between my bone and skate. Can't live without them.
